We love natural ingredients in any products, but why using native, especially indigenous ingredients is important.

I believe we are gracefully transitioning into a more enlightened era in which everyone is becoming increasingly aware of what they consume, as well as what they choose to apply on their skin. Many of us are embracing alternative and holistic approaches to our wellbeing, as we have come to understand that nature is exquisite and that everything truly begins with the bountiful gifts of the natural world. In fact, numerous pharmaceutical active ingredients are derived from a multitude of plants, animals, insects, and other living organisms, often utilizing only one or two components for their efficacy. However, it is essential to remember that nature is not designed to function in such a fragmented manner. The natural world is interconnected; therefore, when we use whole plant parts, we may receive a smaller amount of a particular active ingredient, but in exchange, we gain the entire spectrum of benefits that those plants offer. While active ingredients can indeed be more effective when isolated at a specific concentration, they may not provide the same long-term effectiveness when compared to the rich, nurturing qualities of natural ingredients used in their entirety. As I mentioned earlier, the concept of nature embodies unity; in other words, when you utilize natural ingredients as a whole, you unlock far more than just isolated active compounds. On the contrary, these active ingredients may even become more potent when paired with the other natural compounds that coexist within these wholesome ingredients.

We, at ROBelle Farm, not only focus on harnessing the incredible benefits of natural ingredients, but we also put a significant emphasis on utilizing ingredients that are native to this vast continent itself, because we deeply understand and appreciate how vital they are to our ecosystem. While using natural ingredients is undeniably a step towards eco-friendliness, embracing native ingredients has the potential to bolster the future health of the environment and its intricate web of life. Since these plants are indigenous to this continent, many of them require far fewer resources and less energy to thrive on their own, allowing them to flourish harmoniously with the land. Furthermore, native ingredients serve as essential food sources and habitats for our treasured native wildlife, who, like us, rely on their natural surroundings for survival.

Simply put, Australia is a beautifully multicultural country, where many people from diverse backgrounds come together, drawn by the allure of this stunning land. We, too, carry with us our own preferences and experiences that shape our lifestyle and consumption choices—just like our favorite things that warm our hearts and nourish our bodies. This sentiment extends to our native wildlife, each species possessing its unique habits and requirements needed to thrive. That is precisely why we are so devoted to prioritizing the use of native ingredients; we genuinely desire to inspire and encourage more people to embrace our incredible native plants. In doing so, we believe it will stimulate a greater interest in growing these remarkable plants for both commercial and home use. This shift will pave the way for regenerative native farming practices, leading to the creation of more sustainable food sources and healthier habitats for our beloved native fauna.

Heaps of Love,

Bella
